ALIs, Muses and Bots
ALIs
Artificial Limited Intelligences are AIs that are designed to be below the Sapience level required for true Artifical General Intelligence (AGI). ALIs can be found everywhere in the world of Eclipse Phase, most equipment has a inbuilt ALI responsible for handling interactions with the user. They are capable of following complex orders and reacting to a wide range of circumstances. However they cannot act beyond their programming or innovate new solutions to unfamiliar problems.
For game purposes ALIs are capable of taking the following basic moves that they are equipped for. For example a ALI that controls an advertising kiosk could not open fire on someone as it has no weapon attached. An ALI is glitched ongoing on any move that it makes.

Muses
Muses are specialised ALIs that serve as personal assistants, confidantes, best friends and therapists to their Transhuman partners. Most Transhumans get a muse in infancy and the two grow up together. Muses navigate the administrative complexity of life in AF10, handling the majority of paperwork and learning their partners preferences and automatically arranging things to their liking ahead of time.
Muses uses the same stat lines as other ALIs, however they are not glitched when they take moves that relate to their partnered Transhuman. In addition a Muse has access to the Psychosurgery that can only be used on their partner. This move is boosted when taken against their partner.
Bots
Bots are autonomous robots controlled by an inbuilt ALI. Bots can be given instructions by their controllers, which they will attempt to fulfil to the the best of their abilities. They can also be remotely ‘puppeted’ by a Transhuman Ego, often a Infomorph, with the appropriate equipment.
Guardian angel
When you roll the damage move and miss you may sacrifice the bot instead of taking damage. The bot is destroyed and cannot be repaired without a mechanic’s shop (as per the mechanic move).
